Dr. Patrick Doyle is a trumpeter in the Kansas City metro area. He plays in Ångström Brass and the Ellis Islanders. He also freelances throughout the region, and has performed with the St. Joseph Symphony, Northland Symphony Orchestra, Music Theater Heritage, Kinnor Philharmonic, Cirque Musica, Patriot Brass, Fountain City Brass Band, Tallgrass Brass Band, New England Brass Band, Midwest Chamber Ensemble, William Baker Festival Singers, and My Brothers & Sisters. He frequently performs at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception as a first-call wedding trumpeter. He has toured throughout the Midwest, Southeast, and lower Plains areas with Bruce Vantine’s Cornerstone Chorale and Brass.

Patrick frequently arranges and edits music for his ensembles, including brass chamber music for Ångström Brass and folk and cabaret music for the Ellis Islanders. He has also arranged music for trumpet and organ, and for Sinaloa-style Mexican banda.

Dr. Doyle has earned degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Oklahoma City University, and Boston University. His primary teachers include Dr. Keith Benjamin, Michael Anderson, Terry Everson, and Ed Harney.
